In the world of Itheriont, the races of intelligent monsters never developed civilization, they never invented the wheel, metallurgy, money, writing, etc. They are at a technological level similar to prehistory (although it depends on the race, some would be at a level like the Neolithic, or the Paleolithic, etc.)
