I was thinking some more about the concept I presented in the Push and Pull short (and further discussed in its commentary). This is an attempt to write some sort of narrative around it, using it as court-ordered experimental subification, although I don't take it all the way in the story. In the end the story didn't really explore the push and pull concept, but that's how inspiration works. The other influence is the art installation by some Swedish female designers, where in the name of equality they wanted to make the experience of a prostate exam more humiliating. They took inspiration from vaginal exams to create a piece of furniture that would be cold, jarring, and leave you feeling exposed.

The handles were intentionally designed too thin so you would feel like it wasn't designed for you. I think I would have made them too large, so you would feel like you are below average size. That's not relevant for my story though, as he is strapped in place and tilted headfirst against the floor. Obviously tilts further down than this one.
