most of the hunters not coming also has to do with hunters being egotistic and eccentric. The really strong ones probably didn't even respond to neteros call to fight the ants

Well so far Netero explained to Killua (in ep 85) the reason only a few were brought along was to minimize the risk of the ants capturing strong hunters and assimilating them into their ranks. There are some other reasons too, need to continue the arc to understand them though.

Thank you for the early upload guys!! The king is small perhaps because he is born premature, had he been born as per schedule, perhaps he would have been bigger. Even the hunters are surprised at the timing of his birth, given they were still dealing with the extermination of ant squads.

I don’t know and gon did not do this in the manga (chapter 206 or 207). En was introduced with nobunaga but every time we’ve seen en used by Zeno or Kite it wasn’t visible for the viewer so maybe it’s just gons raw ren but utilized in a smart way.

It's pretty clear that Netero didn't even ask for anyone else. That is backed up by the fact that Zodiacs were disappointed he didn't take them there. The ones who actually asked for backup were Morel and Knov after the king was born and after they lost contact with Netero. They simply wanted hunters to pest control the broken command in the lieutenants and soldiers.

I've seen this show too many times and my conclusion is that it's not even whether Netero needed backup. In fact he was disappointed up until this point. Especially apparent in these 4 episodes. Netero intentionally made them stall the mission... so that, the King could be born. There is the scene with ''I hope things go that way'' (at first it implies he hopes things go as smoothly but it's clear there are other interpretations to that reaction with his future characterisation), and the scene in Knov's portal of him looking down probably disappointed the ants were not as strong as he hoped and just before that scene he tells Knov and Morel to stand down until getting the results of Gon and Killua's fight rather than continuing what they had been doing, Clearly trying to bide time by letting king be born before the team exterminated the ants. This is further proven by what Pariston is doing. He is doing exactly what Netero wants - trying to stall. It's funny that everyone has a misunderstanding of what Pariston is. Even the characters in the show think he is a villain. He is nothing but Netero's most loyal servant.

(Major spoilers for anime/manga) (Turn back now) (Seriously don’t read further) (Warning you) (Last warning) (Ok don’t blame me if you get spoiled) (Seriously) I disagree that he would risk the entire human race to stall the mission for the King’s birth. Netero craves a challenge, but he’s not reckless or stupid. Else he’d just charge Pitou because Pitou would be a challenge too. He also doesn’t even know when the King will be born, aside from the 2 month earliest estimate - how would he stall for several months if it came down to it? Knuckle and Shoot were already on their way and things were accelerating, the King was just born prematurely and ruined their plans. Netero couldn’t have known any of this. Now granted, all this worked in his favor, as he gets excited once Colt tells him just how strong the King is, and it’s why Netero doesn’t call the Zodiacs in or want help in his 1v1. He plans to sacrifice himself, but also wants to challenge Meruem as the ultimate test of his strength. It’s basically a win-win for him, and he’s grateful for the opportunity (as seen in his heart scene). Moreover, the Zodiacs needed to be alive for Netero’s further plans in the manga. He knew Beyond would try to go to the DC again, so he needed the Zodiacs alive and working together as a check against his son. So it makes sense why he didn’t bring them along, though it’s just one among many reasons. Also, Morel says Netero had to fight against the board just to bring him and Knov along, implying Netero DID want additional help, but was met with resistance. So not sure where you got that he never asked for help. (Extra padding in case you somehow found a way to avoid all the above spoiler warning text) (Seriously don’t get spoiled) (I did my best if you get spoiled it’s on you)

Depends. BIG SPOLER ALERT: . . . . . IF YOU'RE STILL READING AND DON'T WANT SPOILERS IT'S YOUR FAULT . . . . . . . . . . .You've been warned . . . . . . . It depends if we're talking about pre-rose or post-rose Meruem. Meruem post-rose could probably take Sukuna out in my opinion, at least at the level he is currently in the anime; I mean, the dude at that point was like a borderline Dragon Ball character, he was able to activate his En, find two enemies, leave the building he was in, knock out two people and transport them back to the same building in a span of like 0.1 seconds, to the point not even his royal guards were able to perceive what happened. I don't think there's anyone on JJK universe (as far as I've seen in the anime, at least) as fast as post-rose Meruem, and I doubt there's someone even close to being that durable.
