This episode was sooo hype 🔥🔥🔥. Sidenote: You guys should watch Korra after your done with this. Yeah I know it's not as good as TLA but season 1 and season 3 of that show are really solid.

Any zuko backstory is a favorite (The Storm ep, (seige of the north [zuko rant]) . But one little moment I find interesting is in winter solstice when Katara, Sokka, and Zuko are all chained to the pillars while Zhao waits for Aang to come out. Aang, in Roku form, comes out and fires a shot off that sends Zhao and his men reeling and literally melts the chains off of Sokka and Katara so they are freed. Roku ALSO melts Zukos chains ;) this is kind of a hint that Zuko may not be all that bad. Which is further developed during the blue spirit episode. Season finale is a favorite ofc tho! Both eps are great development of the story and characters. Gets you hype for season 2 and 3 for sure.

In regards to the new Avatar stuff, they are making 3 animated movies. The first will focus on adult Aang and friends and will be animated by Flying Bark Productions who are basically the western equivalent of Studio Trigger so the animation will be crazy good.

My favourite moment is either Aang and Zuko’s escape from the Fire Nation fortress, or their one-sided conversation in the forest afterwards. Their dynamic is one of my favourites in the whole show.

Yall should watch Korra after you finish ATLA. Its a great continuation of the series and its animation is even better. It came out around the time when it was cool to hate on everything new in media and I was also one of those people to bandwagon on the hate. Going back and watching it years later I realized how wonderful the show is, I just think a lot of the adult themes went over everyones head due to the audience of ATLA being in their teen years during that time😂

Oh man so many things! having the water benders go out and attack each ship does sound like the best strategy but with how many ships they were, they wouldn't be able to disable all of them quick enough before the other ships closed in. So staying in their fortress was still their better option. I can't wait until you guys watch season 2 of Korra with how this episode ended! A cool fan theory is that the reason Yue was a still born baby is because she was going to be the next Avatar after Aang but he was still alive in the iceberg. I also don't think the Northern tribe thought about the southern tribe because of the 100 year war and it would leave the northern tribe vulnerable.
