I'm sorry but every single other anime is dogshit compared to AOT. Recycled plot lines and tropes for hundreds of episodes. Naruto is the same

ATTN BRIG: read this to Cannon & Carter. Naruto is one of my favorite shows!! The character development of Naruto and the others growing up is amazing. But what is truly amazing about the show is the detail of the history of everything. You get to see the master's master's master's master's master's training and that's no joke. How everything is passed down, everyone started as a student and had to work hard, and how someone who was hated by everyone became everyone's hero. Absolutely amazing story, highly recommend. And I know the number of episodes seems daunting, but don't think about that and just start it. It's a masterpiece.

Every anime newbie says the same thing about Naruto , until they've actually watched it. Naruto is fun but Shippuden is when it starts getting cooler - def reconsider down the road

Well if it means anything…Attack on Titan was my first anime I ever watched. But no anime or show in general has ever made me feel as emotionally involved or hit me as hard as Naruto has. I grew up with Marvel, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter…but none of them have hit me as hard as Naruto.

I think you have to grow up with Naruto to like it. At least now, it is outdated and doesn't live up to the quality of other anime. Plus way too long and too many fillers. Definitely a skip. Better shounens would be Hunter x Hunter, One Punch Man, JJK, Demon Slayer, etc.
