I've tried downloading it through the pateron app now trying again going through pateron online? I couldn't see an error message? Just seeing what happens, tho it's probably my fault.

hhmmm, that's odd but it might be an issue with the patreon's app itself. Can you download the file without the app and install it with an apk installer app?
