Commission-Barbarian character design (Patreon)

Evening everyone. I was recently commissioned to design a character for a project my pal Lizmo is working on. It's been a long time since I've worked on pixel art and I really enjoyed this.

Started with some small doodles of what the sprite might look like then tried creating an illustrated version based on those doodles. I forgot how relaxing making pixel art is to me. The challenge of creating something so small utilizing tiny details and illusions feels like solving a puzzle. I feel like put much less pressure on myself and It's really rewarding seeing it come together.

I'd like to keep making some more on my downtime.
