I was interested in trying to add motion to drawings and compile into 2D animation as whole.

I am happy with experiment, but it turned out to be very time consuming. In fact, almost same as 3D videos. At the same time, I suspect, that the drawn animation is less variable.

I thought it was pretty good. Generally speaking, things usually get more efficient/less time consuming the more you work with something and become more familiar with it. Ultimately I would say it depends on what you feel comfortable with doing. If you won't feel comfortable doing 2D animations, then it may be better to focus on 3D animations. But, if you were happy with the way the 2D animation came out, perhaps you could do short 2D animations (maybe 10-30 seconds) on the side as practice until you find a process/technique that makes 2D animations efficient enough to consider for serious projects.

This is a really good animation.

This was very good! 2D and 3D have different strengths, and honestly I think it is good to have knowledge of both fields. But if it is not something you are passionate about compared to 3D, then I don't see any problem just continuing doing what you like.

thank you! I'm not going to switch to 2D, my regular style is being as a top priority anyway)

thank you! but the fact is that I am not interested in creating small animations, I always want to create something that would look decent, quality over quantity. Perhaps this is not the best approach. although initially - create exactly what was in my head, I expected that such 1 animation would be twice as easy / faster than the 1 3D video, and I could produce more material with swith betweem styles. But now In this case, under equal conditions, 3D looks preferable.

Google Drive link is dead. Also could we have a no-music version please?

thanks, fixed https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YC7RFH9dyGejQco87g5ZCYqaver1V6Ry/view?usp=sharing Right now I am gradually working on a table of all my videos, where links will be indicated, not only to the GD, as well as non-music versions. a lot of old videos came out only with music, so I'm going to fix this too, after the catalog is ready and I see what it needs fixing. I don’t have time to change anything in particular right now. please wait a few months before I can update all legacy!
