Some production notes for anyone interested:

I've started making more and more illustrations with controlnet, basing them on a sketch, since a few months ago, because it's really difficult to get correct anatomy and variety in posing and positions in the initial generation with pure text-to-image. It's even more difficult with explicit scenes because most models are trained on particular angles and compositions, and the more nsfw-oriented models tend to make uglier illustrations imho.

The sketch method makes the process of finishing an image more lengthy compared to generating first + editing later. It adds one more step that can take some time, before you do anything with AI, as you have to finish some semblance of lineart first. The generation process with AI takes much longer as well. There's also a risk of controlnet not working well enough with a sketch you've made. For example, it's happened before that I had to dump an idea (especially with horizontal images) because it didn't work with controlnet as well as I thought it would.

Note: For those who don't know, controlnet is a tool in Stable Diffusion that can allow AI to color or draw over your own work. Basically gives you more control over what you can produce with AI. I use it to color and detail my lineart usually.
