On this edition of On-Screen LIVE, the guys are chatting about their final week of coverage for the 60th New York Film Festival. After three weeks, and several ass-numbing screening hours, they're delighted to rattle on about films like Decision to Leave, Women Talking, Armageddon Time, Personality Crisis: One Night Only, and more, including closing night selection The Inspection from A24.

The gang also gets into some In-Theaters and Now Streaming chatter around Halloween Ends, Argento's Dark Glasses, and the new Severin Films 4K release of Peter Medak's The Changeling!

Thanks so much for continuing to be a kick-ass Patreon subscriber! You make all this possible.

Another great show - FYI despite how it is spelled, the writer of Women Talking, Miriam Toews is pronounced TAVES. I don't understand it either! Luckily our little film fest in a couple of weeks has Aftersun, Decision to Leave, EO and Women Talking all playing. Still debating about the Claire Denis films... I love hearing you talk about films honestly and champion the international filmmakers you like!

Thanks for the kind words, Patrick! And wow, Taves, got it! What's the film festival near you? - Andrew

I love it when you guys are funny, this is a comedy podcast after all, but damn I’m enjoying some serious cinema chats as well. 👏

These have been great, guys! Missed the livestream of this episode as I was at the Walter Reade catching the encore screening of Joanna Hogg's The Eternal Daughter, which I loved. Wish that A24 had released it around now, it has great spooky autumnal vibes.

Windsor International Film Fest. (Just across the river from Detroit) I volunteered for TIFF for a few years so I got spoiled. We get some good films but also a lot of general films that have not played in theatres here - which is a lot - Confess Fletch didn't play here for example.

These were great, I wouldn't mind if the "what are you watching" segment of the Big Daddy Dispatch moved to youtube in this format
