First up on TOS, we're talking about the unfortunately titled, "For the World Is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky"! Originally airing back on November 8, 1968, this episode has Bones getting a literal death sentence, Kirk and Spock shocked that a lady is romantically interested in Dr. McCoy, and a bunch of people basically living out a weird Truman Show-esque existence! 

Then, across the galaxy over on TNG, it's the ahead-of-its-time episode, "The Offspring." First hitting the airwaves back on March 10, 1990, this episode has Data designing his own android child, Guinan explaining flirting to a robot, and Picard getting absolutely furious throughout the whole show!
