On this month's entry into the Gleep Glossary, it's the holiday season and we're celebrating by chatting about family—more specifically, Luke Skywalker's beloved, barbecued caretakers, Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru! Can we make the slang word "wizard"—that's Star Wars for "cool"—actually happen? What's with that Aunt Beru ghost shit? And the burning of these two beloved Star Wars characters was the catalyst for taking down the Empire so... you're welcome! PLUS: The guy's are singing Steve Winwood!

Gleep Glossary: A Star Wars Story is a show where the guys try to honor the history and legacy of SW characters we've all been told don't matter anymore!

Thank you for continuing to support this weird, wild adventure we're on! You make this all possible!

Original cover art by friend of the show, the incredibly talented Felipe Sobreiro.

Everything that's been released this month has been a gem. I haven't seen Rise of Skywalker yet but all the Star Wars coverage seems like a more appropriate sendoff of the saga.

Star Wars fandom has reached armageddon.

You guys missed out! According to Wookieepedia, Beru refused to help the stormtroopers that came to the house, but Owen did (begrudgingly) and then the troopers were going to let them go but then their leader reached out to Vader, who then ordered their execution and WATCHED IT ON HOLOCOMM.
