Hey, hey, everybody! Happy Season 15 Week to all who are celebrating, which, we hope, is all of you! It's not lost on us that the only reason this whole operation is even viable is because of you all who listen, subscribe, come to live shows, check out our digital gigs, tell folks about the show, and have just been all-around amazing supporters—whether you've been with us since the very beginning, or you just signed up today, your four angry uncles thank you, very much for being here! So, like every week, let's see what's happenin' in the old WHMu this week:

Holy moly, here we go— on Tuesday we're kicking off season 15 with a wildly fun REDUX episode on Twister! That's right, last season's VHS Trailer Game winner, Chris Cabin, selected Jan de Bont's 1996 weather disaster flick as our redux'd premiere! It was great getting eyes back on this one, a really fun film the four of us have seen like 20 times apiece. You can hear the whole thing here on Patreon AD-FREE at the $8 level & up! And don't forget, this episode starts with the reveal of Chris's victory cameo selection and it is a DOOZY!

Then on Thursday, we're keeping the Batman love going from last week's WLM on The Batman, when on Animation Damnation we chat about another stellar episode of the perfect cartoon, Batman: The Animated Series! Keeping in theme with The Batman, Steve has curated a Riddler-centric episode, "If You're So Smart, Why Aren't You Rich?" And this episode of our longest-running non-WHM show will be available on here at the $3 level & up!

And that'll do it for this week, y'all! If you missed it last weekend, be sure to catch up on our coverage of this year's Toronto International Film Festival from On-Screen Live, over on our YouTube channel!

We hope your week is starting off great—enjoy the shows, everybody—and once again, thanks so much for continuing to be the kick-ass supporters you all are!

Take it easy,
Andrew, Chris, Eric & Steve

asking very respectfully! will OSL be more sporadic this season or is that just the case right now because of travel/festivals? just looking for clarity, will take whatever programming yall get out there :)

Matt

I may have missed it, but any idea on an ETA for the return of the Monday OSL?

Happy Season 15! Had to look back and I realized I first caught the show in Season 6, which blows my mind. Equally blowing my mind that the Phantom Meanace redux episode was already a whole year ago, yiiiiikes. D:

Crazy…going back through the back catalogue. Hopefully Justin Case will make an appearance in the twister redux episode.

Can’t wait for the animation damnation episode. Liking the Batman content this month so far.

Ryan Horn

It’s a poster by Mondo. I think it came out when they released the scores from some of the episodes.

RIP to the Great James Earl Jones.

Noooooo!! I was lied to. By implication. I will never trust again. Still, for whatever it's worth (still don't, won't forgive you), it was delightful to seen a little bit of Joey Pants' home life. And he even referred to himself as "Joey Pants", it's so awesome that he's cool with that. Dude doesn't have a raging ego, he can have fun with his fans. Anyway....now I wanna watch Risky Business again. As the first movie in a Joey Pants marathon.

New Patreon subscriber. Is there a way to suggest movies? I don’t have any social media presence so Twitter etc is out.
