About Patreon... (Patreon)

So I've started using Gitlab for project planning and it's been hilariously effective! In the past I've used Trello and Notion but for whatever reason the workflow of issues & milestones in Gitlab really click with me.

I'm using labels to track "channels" which aren't YouTube channels but rather channels of work I do as Egee and I've realized that I'm just doing waay too much. I mentioned this a post or two ago and it's still a thing, unfortunately.

I've tried doing lots of things with Patreon but they all seem to end because I lose interest or simply forget that it's a thing. And I think it's time to throw in the towel for now and deactivate, or "unlaunch" it.

I'll definitely return to Patreon at some point in the future but at this point I've lost so much velocity that I'm having to basically start making videos from scratch again and I'd like to just focus on that instead of a bunch of other stuff at the same time.

Someday, I'd like to get to a point where I can release a video-a-week and have something to offer in the way of rewards and all that jazz but until then, it's been a good ride and I wish you all the best!
