To Keep in mind
Just like the other 3DMigoto tools for other games, YOU WON'T BE BANNED, as usual 3DMigoto does not replace/modify files so their anti-cheat will not activate!

Simply make sure not to show your UID when showcasing the mods to others.

-------

1. Download and install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable

2. Download WWMI (3DMigoto) here!
Under Releases, hit the version text that has the green 'Latest' next to it

Then hit  "WWMI-For-Modders-v0.x.x.zip" to download it, take the file to an easy-to-access folder and extract it (If you somehow can't extract it, install 7-Zip and use it to extract)

3. Set up WWMI
Go to your game's instalation folder and find the executable "Client-Win64-Shipping.exe" located in Wuthering Waves->Wuthering Waves Game->Client->Binaries->Win64.

HOLD SHIFT and right click on the Executable, then click on "Copy as path"

Then, Inside WWMI's folder, open the d3dx.ini file with notepad.
Next to "Launch =", paste your executable path!

Make sure there are no quotation marks next to your path!
Save the file and close it.

To make sure you set this up correctly, open WWMI Loader.exe! This will automatically launch your game and during the start up screen, you should see a pop-up message in the center with a WWMI guide (or a version note on the bottom left corner). If nothing shows up, please repeat this step!

4. Force Wuthering Waves to load in DX11 mode:

On your game's installation folder, locate the following folder:
Wuthering Waves->Game->Engine->Plugins->Runtime->Nvidia

Then, DELETE the "Streamline" folder you see inside Runtime.

5. Fix the LOD settings

Once again, on your game's installation folder, locate the following folder:
Wuthering Waves->Wuthering Waves Game->Client->Saved->Config->WindowsNoEditor

Then, Open Engine.ini with Notepad, at the bottom of the script, add these command lines:

[ConsoleVariables]
r.Kuro.SkeletalMesh.LODDistanceScale=25
r.Streaming.FullyLoadUsedTextures=1

Remember to save the file! This process will make mods stay loaded no matter how far distant your camera is.

6. Install your mods
Find any mod you can install that supports WWMI either here on my page or on Gamebanana (You'll find some mods meant to be used with another version of 3DMigoto but we're not following that here).
In your WWMI folder, put your mods inside the "Mods" folder.

Mods' Zip/Rar files have to be extracted, otherwise they won't work
And make sure you have ONLY 1 MOD PER CHARACTER, Otherwise the character will get some Epileptic visual glitches!

In case the mods are not loading, press F10 to reload them. (This also saves any mod setting such as variants).

7. Enjoy your modded WuWa!
Remember that you always have to open WWMI Loader.exe to play with mods!

Press F1 to open the guide and see the list of hotkeys available.

Whitetashi Hikari

That's the longest teaser I've ever read.

By the way, if you have an Nvidia graphics card, booting the game during step 3 to double-check like you recommend doesn't work. Following the guide to completion works just fine, but you can't boot the game until after completing step 4.

HazekerMods

Weird, I do have an Nvidia card, does the game still run if you boot it up normally through its launcher?
