Silver Huskey

The emotion here is just so raw. Contrary to what Gull is saying, I'm pretty sure Hake is going to lose most of, if not all of his faith after everything is said and done. I get the feeling that even if Tusk makes it safely to the other island, he won't be allowed to follow her. Those unhappy with the "Tide's decision" may form a fracture in this society. At the very least, they're not going to trust Trout again. And yeah, as I said on the last page, seems like Bluegill and every other Daisy who refused to join the family was correct in their assessment.

Y'know I had really enjoyed the way Gull had been used at first bc you could /maybe/ feel like she just cared for Ray in her own way - not that I ever agreed with her, but I liked that the comic really did touch on how different faiths can truly warp one's behavior, I liked that you went there - but I find the way this developed a lot more interesting. I really like how it shows that no matter how much people may seem like they "care", truly intolerant folk are just using this kind of stuff as a shield for their agendas. The fact that she *grins* when Tusk is sentenced and has the nerve to say this kind of thing... She never cared for Ray and I'm glad that's made clear. She's disgusting. I hope she pricks her pawpad in a conch and that big shark snatches her at some point :/
