State of the Game update November 2023 (Patreon)

Howdy folks, let's talk about the state of the game.

A lot has happened this month. With Potchi working like crazy to draw a ton of new CGs, to the Christmas update, to a new social link. We've got a lot to go through, so let's GOOOOOOOOOOOO

Polls

First off, let's have a look at the last two polls I put out. First of... should we have Christmas? Judging by the overwhelmingly positive votes, I think we should. Which is good! I love the holidays so any chance for me to add some holiday cheer into the game I happily latch on to.

But now... would you play as a female MC? This one was actually a little scary for me. I love writing games with a male MC, but at some point did feel limited. So I put out the question: Would you be okay with having a female Main Character? And most of you were!

Now there aren't any real big plans for making the next game yet, but at least I'll know that I have options. I think in the future I'll ask what type of game it should be. Harem collector / corruption game / love story, etc. etc.

Christmas update

A bunch of effort was put into this years Christmas update. All of the camp will now be decorated instead of just the camp center, the girls will all have their own unique Christmas outfit, rather than all wearing the same one and I'm planning on adding an additional holiday quest.

New CGs

As mentioned, Potchi has brought her A game and has been working overtime on CGs for this update. The December update will work mostly on expanding what's already there, so it's mostly scenes for your friends (there's gonna be butt stuff!)

As well as a return of the Favor system. We're mostly focusing on Amber and Emma in this update, but you might also get a new side quest with some random camp girls (if everything goes as planned).

Lola's story

The goal is to try and get the Lola social link started in this update. She has already been featured in some of the main story quests, but now it's time for her to get her own story rolling. Plus it will be a good chance for her to show off her (extremely) revealing Christmas outfit in the month of December.

Real life

So some thing happened in real life to some of my artists which has slowed down some of the work. The grafity of the situation is too much to discuss here, but one of my artists had to take some personal time off.

There's good news as well though! My girlfriend and I are renovating our kitchen. We bought an IKEA kitchen and now need to figure out how to put it together. Which is going to be... fun / hard? I don't know, I've never put a whole freaking kitchen together.

Wrapping up

So that's about it for the month of November. I'm thinking of releasing the next update around the 20th if all goes well. I wanted to release it a little earlier, but there's still a lot to be done, so I'd rather give myself a forgiveable deadline.
