State of the Game update July 2024 (Patreon)

July has come and gone so let's have a breakdown of this month's activities.

Main story & anomalies

The next update will be continuing the main story of the game and your search for Isabella. Team up with Tess, Scarlet, Hazel and even your friends to find out what the WAR is planning and why it's been capturing and corrupting the monster girls. You will also discover what happens when you use your camera to time travel a bit too much~...

Anomalies are random changes to you and your friends and will unlock additional character customization.

Head Counselor Frauke & telescope

Remember the telescope that shows up at the observatory? It's going to have a use now! You'll be introduced to Head Counselor Frauke in the next update and start a quest with her. Once that's done, you'll be able to start using the telescope to... "stare at heavenly bodies". 

More glory holes

I wanted to add more characters to Sam's glory hole cabin so expect at least one (maybe two) new girls to show up in there. Which reminds me to plan some more stuff to do around night time in the game. That will be for another update though.

Veronica's storyline continued

Trying to get Veronica's storyline done as well, though I cannot promise this one yet. A lot needs to be done and some of my artists have been dealing with black-outs which has slowed down progress. But there will be at least one new CG for Veronica!

More background models

With the camp's slut level increasing, it also means more sexy / naughty background models appearing every now and again. We've got quite a few planned, so it might be fun searching for them around camp.

Polls

 I'm happily surprised by this poll. I think adding some SFW scene into the game will help increase the immersion and overall feeling of the game. We'll be looking into getting some more wholesome / fun stuff added. Hiking / roasting marshmallows / looking at the sunset. Stuff like that.

A month earlier I asked if people wanted me to go back and added more player choices into the game, but most of you are happy with what is out there already. Which is always great to hear. Not doing it will also save me a lot of time which I can then focus on adding new things. =)

Genie Trainer

The main focus right now is still on CMW, but we are putting together a few more concept art pictures for the next game Genie Trainer. Still a long way off, but I figured I'd share the concept art with you all.

Wrapping up

All in all, plenty to do so I'm wrapping it up here. Hope you guys like the (delayed) update from earlier this month. It still has some bugs so expect another patch soon.

As always thank you all so much for your support. Besides Camp Mourning Wood I have some great ideas for the future. Maybe even some 3D stuff if I can wrap my head around it (that's still very far off though).
