Its like you guys (especially Chris) aren't even paying attention to what the mission is. They are supposed to destroy / take out the "Morpho" since its such a threat to all nations due to its destructive power & long range capabilities. As a distraction they literally got the attention of a large portion of the force from the Legion just so that the Spear Head Squadron can get behind enemy lines to destroy the Morpho. The mission was never for them to fight an an entire army of Legions on their own. As Johnny said they are quite literally the most experienced and skilled out of all the nations due to the extreme circumstances they were put through that had battle hardened them even making them stand out amongst all of the other 86. I don't why you now are just starting to doubt their capabilities when you're this deep into the show.
