I finally get what you guys were confused about. Each heroic spirit can be summoned into different classes based on their lore and the artifact used to call on them but that doesn't mean that it's always the same person or spirit that's summoned every single grail war. So for example in the war from 60 years ago most of the servants were entirely different not just their classes being different but they were different heroic spirits entirely with different abilities and identities

Also since assasin is dead now I can say he was based on Hassan of the 100 faces which was basically the OG assassin as we know them today. However this version of assasin has the power to split himself into 100 different bodies and Is one of the weaker versions of hassan if not the weakest. Just know that assasins aren't always this ass and that they can be pretty damn strong
