All I ask for is more originality from this show. Taking concepts from the most main stream anime out there is the worse thing you can do. Because every animes doing that. The anime that try to piggy back off insane success from another series are the ones that become the most forgettable. Take more inspiration from more obsecure well written anime if there is gonna be influence. Thats my take

Just so you know black clover took inspiration from bleach and beserk this training of his inner demon etc. Is from inspired by bleach. The author himself said everything he took inspiration from was bleach and berserk. You should do a bleach reaction if you haven’t seen it to understand.

I respect your guys opinions, but I feel like you focus so much on the usage of tropes and not their execution, you point out all of the similarities and rarely point out the nuances of said tropes. Sure the situation on paper sound identical to naruto, the mc is going to fight his demon under the super vision of their teacher and ultimately befriend their demon. But what happens and what leads to these fights are completely different. Naruto has made a friend out of killer bee and fully trusts him to help him control the nine tails, asta goes with some stranger he met the day before to hopefully gain power because he has no other option. Naruto willingly and knowingly unleashed kurama from the seal, nacht springs the ritual upon asta without explaining what the ritual entails and what the consequences are if asta were to lose. Naruto obtains so much help throughout the ordeal, while asta receives none and gets handicapped while fighting for his body. And lastly the importance of the relationship that forms in the end if the fight are completely different, for naruto its signifies the end of the years of hatred between the two and a total subjugation of power; and for asta, we wait till next ep to find out. Its funny because through the trope in its unique way, black clover created something new that still has that shonen feel to it. A relationship between an mc and his demon that on the surface is just like the others but functions totally different. A lot of what black clover does goes under the radar of so many, buts thats the great part about it, you don't need to look deeper to enjoy the series.

Glad you guys are enjoying the finale of the series! As random as Nacht is, (VC of the BB) he’s arguably the best written character in Black Clover and sadly we won’t be able to see that in the anime as of now. The comparisons to Naruto are obvious and imo aren’t a bad thing. Imo, in some instances I actually do prefer Black Clover’s way of doing things as to other shonen. As the series stands rn, I can kindly appreciate that Black Clover is able to stand on it own and I hope you guys can agree to some extent as I see that you guys are enjoying how the story is developing!
