To clarify the morgue scene with itadori dead, gojo-sensei didn’t know about the first year trio being assigned that special grade mission cuz he was away, it was the “higher-ups” that sent them in order to get rid of itadori, the only reason his sentence was postponed was cuz of gojo, he’s the strongest ability/strength wise but he’s not the leader of the jujutsu sorcerers
