After this episode- Noatok(Amon): “Hey Tarrlok!” Tarrlok: “Yes, Brother?” Noatok: “AM-ON Fire!”

(not a spoiler!) I'm not sure if you guys are aware but the first couple seasons they weren't told if they were going to get renewed so they made season one so it could stand alone. I feel it's easier to grasp when you kinda know the circumstances the creators were under! Great reaction, it's really refreshing to see people go into this amazing show with an open mind. I'm excited to start season two with you!

The 🐐 Aang

Something I think a lot of people miss when it comes to “Korra cries and then connects her to Aang/spirituality” is that She didn’t even know she did. All she knew at that moment was immense pain(and a theory that may have been insinuated when a tear drop of Korra’s falls off the cliff is that she could have been contemplating suicide at that moment) which would make sense because Aang said “When we hit our *LOWEST* point..”

Fun fact: The Legend of Korra was only supposed to be 1 season. Thats why everything went so quick with Korra getting airbending at the fight against Amon and connecting with her spiritual side allowing Aang to give her bending back with energybending( thats what its called). That is whats making people feel that Korra was getting everything handed to her at the end.

Aye just a heads up when people say they don't like season 2 they mostly mean the ending dont let it sour you on some good drama and action for the most part.

Yea season 2 has in my opinion the best 2 episodes of the series. Those 2 episodes are honestly better than some episodes in Avatar the last airbender

Few ass pulls but not bad lol

Unlike Aang, Korra wanted to be the avatar from the start. It's central to her identity and losing her bending was the worst thing that could have happened to her. The scene where she goes to the cliff and you see her tear go off the edge made me believe she was thinking of jumping. She might have thought what good is an avatar that can only airbend? This season is one of my favorites and considering they didn't know there was going to be a season 2 at the time, I think they did a fine job with the few episodes they had.

great reaction! i know you will watch season 2 next all i want to say is be open minded and it will be slow in beggining but episode 7 is where it becomes so much better and the story picks up. also Korra unlocks airbending because it shows korras love for Mako because if you listen to what Guru told Aang the airbending is located at the heart and is unlocked by love. something along those lines. season 2

Yeah Book 2 is a weaker season I especially hate the cheap budget animation in some scenes but it still has some great moments. Animation gets back to its greatness after Ep7 and weak Korra is still better than alot of overhyped anime out there 😬.

Don’t u ever disrespect Iroh again, Mako doesn’t have shit on him.

I agree with the theory of korra contemplating on ending her own life, especially when and told her she was at her lowest point.

The reason Amon couldn't take her Airbending is because she didn't unlock it yet. She basically unlocked it in that moment as she saved Mako. Also, Chris is basically right. I said it on the last episode when you asked about it but: Remember the whole "Chakras" and being connected to bending thing from the Guru in The Last Airbender? The writers have said, Amon uses bloodbending to basically permanently block your chakra, therefore severing your access to that bending.

Glad y’all are enjoying the show and forming your own opinions great reactions.

Jesus the amount of explanations lol. Thanks for giving your thoughts after every reaction!

Bolin can't metalbend because metalbending requires a aggressive and rough personality while Bolin has a chill and laid back personality.
