I agree, she is worse in the dub, plus Meliodas and one other sin seem superior in the sub as well, but not bad here.

I mean, I feel I made a solid argument against her character lol. Shes been complaining about not being able to do anything this entire season, but doesn't attempt to make herself stronger while traveling with some of the strongest people from her kingdom. All the while every time she makes an attempt to help it obviously fails, as if she doesn't wanna acknowledge its her lack of skills or abilities that makes her useless in these situations in the first place. People seem to think that if I was watching her with her Japanese voice actor that all these unlikable traits will just magically go away, like what?? Lmao. If there was any like-able traits to her character that they tried to show me this season, it was that she was caring for strangers and maybe her kingdom. Thats why I said the only role I could see her playing is a leader role as queen. Also even her father has powers bro, so I refuse to believe she can't develop some kind of magical ability. Even her step sister was doing something as a holy knight!! So I don't understand why she hasn't done anything to get stronger yet, especially considering her circumstances. She goes out to find the 7sins and hopes they'll solve all the kingdoms problems. She relies way too heavily on other characters, reminds me of Sakura from Naruto. Maybe she'll become less frustrating to watch in the future, but as of now her character is annoying cause every time something goes down shes either getting emotional, or feeling sorry for herself. As if she didn't have plenty of times to ask these guys to help her get stronger.

Bro dont compare her to sakura sakura is a ninja in a shinobi world which is totally different Elizabeth is a princess like u dont often see a princess just out here wrecking shit like bro wen is she gonna find the time 2 train when their looking for the sins and constantly on the move. Who knows how long she would have to train like it's those kind of things u have to think about I'm not a fan of useless characters but I never felt any kind of way about her but keep watching bro is all I can say

Even if they didn't have time to train Elizabeth, the point is I would respect her character a lot more if she even made the attempt to get stronger, or brought the idea to their attention of them helping her get stronger. Just some indication that she cares and acknowledges that shes useless in so many situations and is willing to change so I could have some respect and empathy for her self pity. That would of made a big difference towards how I see her character. Just because she's a princess doesn't mean she has to play into a predictable trope, especially when the circumstances don't call for it. Her entire character this season is just feeling for other people. To me her personality is seriously lacking any depth so far. All I really want from her character is an aspiration. Something she wants to go after or learn to help everyone in these situations. Like grow as a character that could help your friends out so you don't do stupid things like, trying to pick up kings spear to fight a holy knight. or walking into a flock of bugs to try and save a civilian (without actually walking out afterwards). She did come in with the assist I think 2 times in this season. One with giving Meliodas the sword, and the other when she snatched the bell off that holy knights weapon to stop the hypnosis. Which i'll admit was all good shit for her considering. But idk how many scenarios like this will actually happen until it starts seeming like bull shit, considering the stronger opponents they'll be facing. But again even with these assists, the main thing I wanna see from her is a will to change. I would imagine she needs to learn at least something in order to be useful with the enemies they're up against now. She's only relevant right now cause shes a key which seems like a cop out to me. Shes being written into the story as a plot element cause she literally can't do anything else to help. All while being a main character. But yeah at the end of the day I don't think its hard to understand why Im not a fan of her character. If you're gonna make such a big deal about wanting to help people, then show us that you wanna develop some form of skills to actually help people. It doesn't even have to be fighting.
