I like how the royal guard foreshadowed their changes. If you remember when the king asks his royal guard "what is my name". Pitou says "it should be whatever you wish" implying she cares how the king feels more than anything else. Youpi said "i do not have the capacity to answer that". Implying hes all about duty and this is beyond his duty as royal guard and wouldnt step in the way. Pouf says "you need no name other than king" implying hes all about what HE thinks the king should be while not caring about what the king or others think. They all are fiercley loyal but express their loyalty in very different ways. Its a an incredible arc and all the characters are very well thought out. Even the royal guard are influenced by human nature and I think pouf is the biggest representation of that.

The reactions to this episode are always hilarious. Everyone always thinks WTF they watched with that revival sequence. I had the same reaction too when I first watched it. Absolutely hilarious😂🤣 The 99 dub was done in 2008 hence why it will sound outdated compared to the dubs we have now but Killua, Leorio, Netero and Hisoka had some of the best voices in that 99 dub. Soundtrack and openings were so good in that version too. I always loved the tone and vibe for it. This reaction was funny as hell🤣
