Aurora, and her strange cape outfit that is probably way too warm for the tropical location the comic will take place in. Maybe she's just very cold!

Some more practice on the ipad, which i got a couple of days ago so i could sketch, not chained to my desk~

For those wondering how it is so far~ Personally, before things start to feel comfortable to draw in, you need to cover a lot of ground. Gotta get a matte film screen protector, gotta get the ergo plus grip for the pencil, gotta get csp, gotta import tools and template docs... Then i've had to find like, more streamlined, less keyboard-centric ways to draw efficiently, once the physical hurdles are dealt with. There's a lot of cool shit you can do mix-and-matching touch gestures with pencil stuff that i'm still working out, but like, or the final pricetag of ...550 ish, i've got a perfectly usable, lightweight draw device that lets me have all my digital art creature comforts, wherever. There are some quirks, the filesystem crap, etc, but coming from a year or so on a cintiq22hd, i recommend this setup.
