Finally worked through this one, though it's still a bit of a work in progress; there's still a lot of tweaks and extras I want to investigate, but given how long it's been I figured I'd put out this tutorial on the core process now and update it with any new discoveries later.

In case anyone's wondering, I'm prob going to take a short break for non-blog stuff and then afterwards my aspirational list for tweaks and extras to investigate is (in the order I intend to look into them): - endorheic basins in wilbur - lakes in wilbur - glaciers in wilbur - dealing with split continents in wilbur - trying to figure out how gospl works better (better marine deposition, restarting model runs, varying the timestep, etc) - glaciers in gospl - making a lake-filling (and river-finding) algorithm with pysheds - possibly making a simple glacier flow/balance model (which might then also feed into the above) - finally making teacup's terrain 3+ years after I started investigating all this
