Important Update! (Patreon)

Hey, everyone! I wanted to quickly make a post recapping the events of last week. You've probably heard about this through some other artists or just elsewhere, but last week it seems like both Gumroad and ℙa+reon updated their guidelines. These updates in general to their guidelines appear to be pretty vague but also quite scary for anyone in this particular artistic community. So much so that a lot of last week felt like I had to devote a lot of time to "doomsday prepping."

Now, I feel like I've been pretty cautious with how I handle uploads here but who knows what might happen in the future. From people I've heard from who've had their pages taken down, it sounded like their notices came out of nowhere and for no logical reason. I spent a good amount of time too going back and making edits to old posts and re-uploading their thumbnails to blurred image. Who knows how effective that'll end up being, but can't be too careful. I still have a few things I should probably continue to edit and or delete as well...

I have no intention of stopping to us this site, or gumroad, and will continue on like always. Should the worst case scenario arise, however, I am finally setting up a SubscribeStar as well. This is wildly long overdue, as I had planned on setting this up before as a backup, and for those who might probably prefer that environment. Everything posted there should be exactly the same as here too. The only thing, I think, I don't think I'll be able to juggle between the sites is going to be the fan polls. The results of which will still get posted both places.

So, whichever place you prefer, I plan to continue on as always. And, should the worst case scenario arise, I hope to see you again at the SubStar!
