Hey Guys!

I wanted to try and share a little bit more of the process I go through when coming up with designs and parts to put on the builds.

One of the first things I do is go online and look at other custom builds people have done and then I pick and choose some of my favorite ideas to incorporate into my builds.

This is a concept bike from Ducati that they designed using the Xdiavel platform.  This is a bit extreme BUT there are parts on this bike that I think we should incorporate into our design.

I love the dry clutch and I've chatted with Carlin and his pops and I believe this is a dry clutch from an 1198 and we should be able to do something similar with ours.

Also, I love that termi exhaust.  It's one of the few full systems available and its at the top of my list so far.  We will have a post dedicated to exhausts shortly so don't worry.

The other part I love on this bike are the clip ons.  I think for our build those will be a bit too extreme BUT some drag style handle bars could help create a similar line while being more functional for everyday road use.

Let me know what you guys think and I hope this gives you a taste of how special this build can be!

The brushed aluminum, copper chassis mixed with yellow and black are awesome! I don't really like the exhaust end, but it would look a bit different in these kind of bikes. How about a double ending exhaust higher near the pillion seat? (just a radical idea to think about ;-) ) The clip-ons might be a bit impractical, but it would be awesome on a bike like this, it would be very unique having an aggressive riding position like that on this kind of bike! :-)
