Hola Primos!

We are heading in to the weekend and starting it off with an all new Run BTS! It's Ep 52 today, BTS Escape!

The guys are going to an escape room today. 2 teams, 1 hour. Will anyone make it out? Will they be locked in there forever? Ok, maybe we are being a bit dramatic. 🤣 We love escapes room and this was such a fun episode to watch! We hope you enjoy the reaction.

Its funny that you guys mentioned Tae becoming besties with the hints person because in the behind the scenes for this ep they show more of his moments on the phone with the staff and he really WAS talking to them like it was a casual conversation, like catching up with a friend 😂 it was soooooo hilarious but also endearing af ♡

About the numbers, it's all about the first syllable of the words in korean, like "candy" in korean is sathang (사탕) and the first syllable is Sa which is the number 4 in korean 😉

I think they mean it literally was, Jin’s room was intermediate level and Jimin’s was advanced level, it was a pr decision to even out the odds bc they had more members (tho like summer said one more member doesn’t always really help lmao)

Love this ep, I forgot how well this displayed Jin and Jimin’s wit and intelligence for problem solving and puzzles. Run Staff did well pitting them as leads for the teams.

I think as an English speaker looking at Jin’s room it may seem easier because a lot of the hints involved english words. I don’t believe when they divided the rooms by intermediate and hard, it’s talking about how complicated the clues are, but about the NUMBER of clues that must be solved in the time frame. Jimin’s team appeared to wait a lot longer before asking for a hint than Jin’s team and I think that determined the difference in time. They sat on that 10:01 clue forever it seemed before they asked. And the 4 person team started out working on clues by themselves, but then quickly ended up worked one clue at a time together, which negates their advantage of having an extra member. Fun episode! Excited for the next few as they are some favorites.

My family (hubby, 4 grown kids, and I) went to an escape room. After about 60 seconds, I knew I was way out of my league!!! 🧐 Four kids got the quick fire thinking process from hubby -- I am more of a slow but thorough thinker. They were five clues ahead of me and solved the second room before I set foot into it! I think it was a record time for solving that room. 👏 Next time, I will bring a book, sit down, read a page, and cheer when they have "escaped." 😊

i love the IDEA of escape rooms, but in reality i suck SO BAD at them and its no fun. also i have issues with letting other people solve the clues, even tho i am certainly less capable of doing it than they are. sooooo. yeah. BUT what i have learned from this episode is to just go ahead and ask for the clues right away

Summer, you made me laugh too many times "I'm tired of this", "I'm kidding, just don't answer my questions", "it's a message, he still hasn't take me to an escape room" "What if the 4th person not even good" 🤣🤣 I suck at escape rooms... Being claustrophobic & nyctophobic, my brain gives up functioning completely. Watching BTS is ok, but because we can't see some of the clues plus some clues are in Korean (e.g. the one summer asked why candies is 4, that's taking the first syllable of the Korean word), it's hard to follow. My focus's always on the boys & THEY ARE ALL SO SMART, especially Jimin & Jin!! Tae's so cute "Dorothy~~~" & JK's so quiet throughout XDDDD

I must say that Jimin is very very smart and intelligent at the same time. He was so calm the whole time .And I am a J-hope type.....I would've definitely call Jimin for help with hints.🤣Even Dorothy wrote “Would you marry me?”.. pretty sure it was meant for Yoongi.🤣 Taehyung looks like a younger brother who was dragged by his older brothers.. his eyes and reactions are so innocent, smiling when they solve something and just observing Jin and Yoongi. 💜 ⟭⟬ B T S ⟭⟬ 💜

Korean Lesson: regarding the necklace=2, diary=1, candy=4, bracelet=8 clue. The Korean spelling of each clue has the same word/character for a specific number. For example: necklace is spelled 목걸이 [목 (mok) 걸 (gul) 이 (ee)]. The last character 이 (ee) is also how you spell the number 2. The editors show this visually via 목걸2.

Jin's team was the Dream Team for an escape room. That's the team I would have bet on. Jin is a great team leader (top 3 leadership skills in BTS alongside Joon and Hobi) and he's got this grounded, pragmatic streak that helps him avoid overthinking and over-complicating things. He's got strong intuition and the experience to meta game, too. Yoongi is an encyclopedia of random information and that is bound to come in handy plus he's the opposite of excitable and is very patient and encouraging. Tae is a super creative problem solver. He thinks outside the box and, in an escape room where you kind of have to turn things on their head to see them correctly, that's a huge edge. And he also is great at the meta-gaming, like Jin. Plus, these three are the biggest cheaters in BTS. Yoongi and Tae especially but Jin will take advantage of an opportunity when he sees it too. So, none of them are above playing a little dirty to win. haha.

Loved this episode. Love escape rooms I have only been once a few years ago, my daughter and son in law for a birthday present took me to the movies to watch a BTS documentary and then for a meal and then an escape room. We timed about as we were solving the last clue, frustrating. I think Jin’s looked easier because they were calm and not afraid to use a clue at the right time. Jin as usual noticed that Tae seemed a bit lost and allocated phoning for a clue to him ensuring he actively participated in the whole process which Tae was happy about, so many miss Jin’s high EQ moments. Jimin’s team was a bit chaotic and if they did not have Jimin would still be in there, haha. It goes to show that the more times you do them the more clues you get, hence why Jin and Jimin were very good. The first time I have seen Namjoon a bit flummoxed. Being super intelligent does not always help in these situations as they think more academically and less logically which are Jin’s and Jimin’s strength. Over and over again you will see Jin’s cool logical intelligence help him win over and over again. That is why he is called King of BTS run. The next three episodes are some of the funniest, love them. 💜💜💜💜

Jin and Taehyung have the highest rate of wins in Run BTS, especially Jin who's first. If they are together in a team, I'm not betting against them😂 TaeJin are both gamers too so I guess it helps! Add Yoongi to the mix and that's a tough team to beat on a regular day. And contrary to what we might think, Taehyung who didn't cook much those days, only lost ONCE for cooking games: he was always on the winning team side lol.

I agree he did have a couple of good ideas but I think as he had never done one before to me he looked a bit lost. When given the task of spokesperson to get the tips he brightened up and even took the initiative to do so as well. I know how he must have felt as I felt lost when I did one because the clues are not obvious. Loved this episode and the fondness Jin and Suga have for Tae,

I really wish you guys to see BTS performing the cute version of boy in luv, fire and dope. I think it’s 2017 festa performance. There are like two of them, one with j-hope, jin and V only. While the other one includes all the members. There is behind the scenes video too where they record the whole cute version of the songs. It’s so funny and cute at the same time. It’s definitely going to be a feast to your eyes.💜🕊️
