HELLO THERE, dear bros of culture. How is everyone doing? Welcome to another Monday post! Who knows, maybe one day some kind of digital archeologists of the future will study my Monday posts? Maybe they will even organize these posts into a book called: "The life of Akabur and his merry band of bros". or something :) Of course we're all be long dead by then. How exciting!

STELLAR BABE. You know what else is exciting? Stellar Blade getting uncensored in the latest patch. (At least that's what I hear people say.) Not gonna pretend that I care too much about this since I have no interest for modern games but this is definitely a piece of good news that even an old soul such as myself can appreciate.

STELLA GLOW. I realize that I sound like a broken record by know, but I don't know what to tell you -- I am having the time of my life with Stella Glow. The hot springs event was an absolute blast. Suddenly seeing Nonoka without the cardboard on her head had me gawk at the screen in shock for a good half a minute. Didn't expect that. The game does this a lot: surprises me in a good way :)

OLD SCHOOL WRITING. The things characters say in this game would never be translated properly in this day and age. (I play UNDUB version and can confirm: translation is very good in this one). More than that, I don't see even Japanese version having this type of dialog in a high budget game these days. All in all I am really happy I decided to give Stella Glow a try. Every time I boot it up I feel genuinely exited to see what's next. ^^

THE WORK. Last week was quite productive! I will talk about this in more detail in the EXTRA!! post, but in short: I drew a bunch of things :) At this point I am almost running out of things to draw, meaning that almost all the placeholders have been replaced by the actual art assets by now.

THE PLAN. I plan to spend the first half of this week on finishing up a few more drawing-related things and second half of the week shall be dedicated to writing. The game still starts with the words "Into goes here", so I need to fix that. And after I am done with the intro I also need to write "the true ending" event that is still missing. So, that's the plan for this week. :)

THANK YOU for you support an patience bros. I will see you all next Monday. :)

I'm really going to have to launch this Stella Glow on an emulator, my curiosity has been piqued! 👀 Are there any elements (story, gameplay, graphics) that consciously inspired you to put them into your own creations? Stardew Valley for the melon culture? 🍈🧑🏻‍🌾 Otherwise it's interesting to see you end with both the intro screen and the end event. I guess now that you've got a complete picture of everything you could put into the game, it's a good time to imagine both I guess.

Yeah, if you have an opportunity give it a try. It has good story and characters. And really high production value. (I was surprised). Depending on your tastes you may want to try UNDUB version. But it could be that English dub is good with this one, because the translation itself is very accurate. Second screen is never needed so it plays perfectly well on an emulator, although if I knew I will love this game so much I would have played it on my 3DS instead. P.S. What made me give this game a try was the fact that you can eventually choose one of the girls to end the story with. I am a big sucker for this type of stuff XD

Thks, I will definitely try this game!
