GO Update 5: New Gameplay, New Girl! (Patreon)

For the past few months we've been listening to you, the player's feedback. Both good and bad. Your opinion means a lot to us, so we have been working between Free Title Updates on creating an entirely new gameplay experience. We referenced games you suggested as well as added our own touch to set Girls Overboard apart. We hope you enjoy!


Eleanna from Faulty Apprentice is here!

Eleanna is a Sailing Instructor looking for an apprentice willing to learn, and most importantly, not a pervert. If you can keep your pants on, learning to sail should be a breeze. There's no way you would end up in international waters with her tied up and unconscious, right?

New Bubble Shooter!

Prevent girls from overwhelming you with their sexuality by shooting gems of the same color as they descend and destroying them. Destroying gems and using Lust will determine how quickly your relationships increase or if you will fail in miserable loneliness.


New Relationship System and other mechanics

  • Hearts <3 Unlock Hearts and story scenes for each girl by filling their Relationship Bar via the Bubble Shooter. Failing to clear character stages in time will reset the progress, so don't miss your chance to shoot your shot!
  • Lust! Gems, Gifts and Dust have been streamlined into a single currency, Lust! Lust points can be used to increases the speed at which Relationships increase. The more you Lust, the more you bust!
  • Look! I mean, Loot! The Fashion Boutique is now optional loot that spawns when you successfully win a girl's Heart. Like real clothes though, you get what you pay for!

Ok, just a few things about the update. 1) please make the “bubble blast” game with mouse support so that we can better aim our shots. 2) this could be me, but I seam to can’t pick the girl I want to play the bubble blast game to increase their love affection. 3) waiting on my AGL newsletter for the mailing list.

Is there any way to swap characters? I’m stuck with Eleanna, which is cool (but I got plenty a look of her in Faulty Apprentice), but I’d prefer finish all the other characters I haven’t finished yet. BTW, some of the codes for the special costumes of Eleanna doesn’t seem to work

Not currently, but we are working on a patch to add a swapping girl system! The codes are case sensitive, and I originally forgot that, they should be working now, but if you have any trouble let me know! -DIn

We also release on itchio a few days after Steam (to make sure the build is stable). Once we finish the patch update we are working on, we will be going live on itchio. We will send a mailing list update at that time too. I think there is a way around Steam, but you would have to ask around our discord. https://discord.gg/AGLstudioArt

Two weeks without a patch, in this time my progress with the new girls has been ZERO because I'm unable to select them or unlock the next level before the timer runs out. At least with the prior system I'd would been able to progress some level by grinding, but now, ZERO. And of course, I've been unable to buy any new swimsuits. Next time, before releasing something that breaks the experience for so many people, please, TEST IT!!!

Thanks for the feedback, Dirheim and very sorry for giving you an unpleasant game experience. Since we are such a small 2.5 person team, we don't really have many testers (full disclosure, we only have one currently). We ask for volunteers to help us test, but don't get many takers, so its near impossible to get "feedback" about the gameplay until we go live with it. The specific issue of yours with not being able to choose the girls, was a design choice, not a bug, but we are changing that. This patch is taking much longer than we would like, but we are working on a choice feature for girls as well as other improvements to quality of life in game. Thank you for your patience with us and again, I am very sorry for negative experience. -Din
