GREAT REACTION GUYS!!!

Andreas Köther

Tom Wlaschiha is actually German and even here most people will pause before they pronounce his last name if they don‘t know it yet. He‘s in plenty of shows and movies here. „Das Boot“ a serialized and extended adaption of one of the most famous German movies is another international show he stars in. He was also featured in a season of „Stranger Things“. The actress who plays Shae is also German, Sibel Kekili. She‘s a pretty great actress that has won many awards for her work and civil engagement over here.

Maester Aemon's selflessness never failed to fascinate me. Ser Alliser Thorne fought for the Targaryens, and took the black when Robert won the rebellion. Maester Aemon knew that. He also knows that Jon's father was an integral part of the rebellion that crushed his family's dynasty. Still, Aemon was biased towards Jon against Ser Alisser. He really did follow the advices he gave to others, ''Love is the death of duty'', and you can love no one more than your family. And even with this he's risen above his personal feelings and has done what he thought was best for the watch. RIP king.

If you think Bronn has a good voice you guys should check out Robson and Jerome. Jerome Flynn is the actor that plays Bronn. He had a few number 1 hits in the UK back in the nineties with his partner Robson green.

Great reaction but again the Cersei hate 😅 . I just can't understand it

Anonymous

What part of 'she's a hateful bitch' you don't understand? Do you deny that she is a hateful bitch? What's the deal with all these people defending Cersei lol And not just defending but also 'not understanding' the hate, whaat?

Anonymous

Yeah, I don't get this either. I really enjoy Cersei as a character because she's fascinating, but she's totally ruthless and hateful. I love pretty much any scene she's in because her character is so well-acted!!

Ietseatapples

I dont think anyone likes Cersei, shes a hateful, spiteful bitch for sure. Shes just completely fascinating and mesmerizing to watch on screen, because her motivations and desires are so layered and multidimensional...hatred, jealousy, grief, love, etc. You can write an entire thesis on her character. Shes not like Joffrey or Ramsay, who sometimes feel like evil caricatures. But i think the main difference is that shes presented to the viewer as a protagonist. She isn't the antagonist of someone elses plot the way most villainous people are. So she doesn't elicit that same level of hatred the others do. I just think if you are gonna boo at her every time shes on screen, you might miss out on a lot of the great storytelling because shes just as much of a narrative driving force in this show as Tyrion, Jon, Dany, etc. But honestly, its not that big of a deal. People are here to watch YOUR reactions, not instruct you on how to react :)

Julien

@Milorad, I don't get Cersei stans who act like the hate is incomprehensible either. She is a classic villain. Was positioned as such in the story from literally the very beginning. The complexity of her character doesn't change this fact. If you like Cersei, fine. Just don't be out here acting like hating her is weird when it's the vast consensus and clearly what the story intends. Sorry, it's you who like her that is the weird one. Frankly, I think people are just trying to be edgy. "Littlefinger is the real hero of GOT!" types. Cersei is a horrible person, point blank.

Shawn Brink

So is Tyrion and Jaime. So was Robb. The boy who forced his bannermen to come to his aid leading to the deaths of many fathers and sons that never held a spear in their lives before he thrust them into war. This is cherry picking we all do it to some extent but others are not even self aware enough to know that they see the world through biased eyes. There is no person Y is bad point blank in moral philosophy and unless you can tell us how you derive your moral axioms then you are probably just speaking through virtue.

ATG

I love Cersei as a character and understand why people hate her, but I find her way more interesting than a lot of the good guys on the show. I can empathize with female characters who feel like they've been treated like second-class citizens and livestock. I think she's always been evil, but it's also clear there's a lot of self-hatred and resentment toward society because she's a woman. I don't expect other people to like her though. I just low key think the Lannisters are the best/most interesting house (definitely not the most noble or best people) - Tyrion, Cersei, Jaime and Tywin, all fascinating to me.

SnorlaX

i vote for The Witcher series!

Why this much hate towards Cersie? Honestly, it just feels like you view a character as either just black or just white. Everybody’s grey and that’s what makes them interesting. If you compare Cersie to others, she hasn’t actually done much bad stuffs yet apart from smirking which according to you is a big crime. But anyways, it would be nice if you guys watched with a little open mind

SuddenImpulse

Do you watch their before and after discussion segments? They discuss a lot of characters and their grey natures in depth in those fairly often. They have also gone into their thoughts on Cersei a fair bit. =)

Julien

@Shawn Lol sorry but this is just stupid. In the context of that world, there is nothing inherently evil about a lord ordering his bannermen and peasants to war. What is evil is actively hating your younger sibling for something that's not his fault, fucking your family members, replacing heirs of the kingdom with incest babies knowing that the discovery would break the kingdoms, ordering the execution of the completely innocent pet of a child, ordering that food destined for the poor be feed to the dogs purely out of spite, actively enabling the cruelty of your vile son, etc. And that's just the show. Other people have certainly caused more suffering in this world. But that vile woman's heart is black. Cersei is an evil bitch, and no amount of relativism and rationalizing her evil will change that. 🤮

Oh come on it’s quite common to dislike Cersei. Grey character or whatever and I’m not even sure how Cersei is grey, she’s arguably one the most black or white characters in the series. Her motivations are glaringly clear. Not the most likable so it’s almost expected to react in this manner.

Don’tDrinkTheLuminol

Yup. I “love to hate” Cersei because she’s a fantastic character. I hate what she does, but I love how she thickens the plot. And she’s certainly more fascinating than Ramsey or some of the other clear villains. But is she a bitch? YES.

Don’tDrinkTheLuminol

She’s delightfully complex, but I think people hate her because other complex characters have done a bunch of GOOD things (think Jamie or Danny) to balance out some of the terrible things they’ve done. But we haven’t seen Cersei do anything unselfish to date.

spartanandpudgey

we just speak our mind to how we see it, bare in mind these are our opinions. no one is going to agree with all that we say, but we offer you our perspective on the show and its characters.

Julien

I knew he was German but I'm guessing he is from waaayy east? His name sounds Polish to me. Maybe his background is actually Polish or otherwise Slavic, who knows.

can't wait for episode 8😁

trance

Spartan and Pudgey are very good about stating clearly when they understand a character's actions or points of view, even if they don't agree with them. It's something they've done frequently and consistently throughout the entire series. They've said this about Cersei, too, and they were even sympathetic to her earlier on in this reaction, in the scene with Tommen. Cersei can be a difficult character to defend, but if you can be open minded about Cersei's character, respectfully, please give Spartan and Pudgey more credit. Its understandable you see some complexity in Cersei's character. But she has done numerous bad things, and created a lot of terrible situations for selfish reasons, and this episode is the most recent example. She created this situation to get back at her rivals and is torturing her own son in the process. She empowered the sparrows out of spite, and that makes what's happening to her more like justice than any of the harsh things she's done (including many deaths, for example), going all the way back to episode one. So she's reaping what she's sewn -- and that's why Spartan and Pudgey and many others, react to the ending of the episode that way.

Actor for Bronn is a singer irl =)

Shay

I don’t hate Cersei but I do question the credit she gets for loving her children. Yes, she loves them but she’s also tormenting Tommen by setting up Marjorie (and by association, Loras) to be imprisoned. She refuses to acknowledge that she’s responsible for it via arming the Faith, and this visit to the Sept was made under the guise that she’s there to represent Tommen’s position—release Marjorie. She had no intention of doing that and instead delighted in her misery. Again, I’m not saying she doesn’t love her children and I’m sure she’s afraid of losing them, but let’s be honest, her primary goal is to injure Marjorie in anyway possible. The fact that her son loves Marjorie does not matter to her in the least, except in how it makes her feel rejected. That is some twisted BS.

Anonymous

You don't deserve credit for loving your children. That's what you're supposed to do. I don't get why she deserves a pat on the back for having basic motherly instincts when it comes to her kids. Its nonsense.

Cameron Eldridge

her love for them is also wayyy to controlling, if she got what she wanted her kids would never get married or have their own lives
