Hill House is just god tier filmmaking. BoB is a classic but honestly I think S&P have already seen the best WW2 content (Schindler's List and Saving Private Ryan). Will definitely tune in for both but hoping HH holds on - feels like a good time for a genre change and it will likely hit YouTube at the perfect time for Halloween viewership

I wish I was able to watch HoHH again for the first time. You have such an amazing experience ahead of you if you give it a try. You won't regret it. This coming from someone who does NOT like horror genre or so I thought lol this series changed my attitude toward the genre. It really is a masterpiece.

It's a very good show. I wouldn't consider myself a fan of the horror genre but I think the show is more family drama/suspense than horror. Very good writing, acting, and production value. Definitely worth the watch IMO

No gaurantee it will win the next poll. If it loses, then we will be watching closer to Christmas than Halloween. I'd rather take the chance to vote now for it, because BoB is a big hit that will almost certainly win next time, its almost won each time. HoHH isn't likely to be as consistently competetive and people have waited 2 years for it to be on a poll, so I wanna help them out and also give some extra variety (a genre thats completely new) to the channel since we just watched several WW2 reactions. That is just my personal thought process. Absolutely understand people voting for BoB though. If HoH wasn't its competitor I'd do the same.

one series was nominated for 16 emmys and won 7...the other wasn't even nominated in 1 category....I see a lot of people throwing the word masterpiece around but I know which series is better and Spartan will as well after watching both of these shows

And since when has horror ever been favoured in Hollywood award shows, this isn't the big revelation I think you think it is. They have reacted to plenty of wartime stories as of late, I don't think pausing it for one 10 ep miniseries is going to hurt. Expand your horizons a little, give it a chance. If you already have, cool! BoB will be a great next watch.

I honestly think its 3 things: 1. Quite a few people in the community have been asking for this on patreon, youtube, discord, since way back when the channel first grew a bunch with House of Dragon season 1. So quite a lot of people I think in the community have been patiently waiting a long time. 2. Fall is sarting to get in gear 3. Its a brand new genre for them reaction wise, so it would be a fresh and unique experience for them and the channel 4. They've watch multiple WW2 related things recently so there may be some mild fatigue and people may want to mix it up a little first before going into another one. I was a bit surprised myself but unless something crazy happens BoB should be a shoe-in next time.

I think, personally, these two are such different genres that it’s a little weird to me to pick between the two (though I do get it’s because they’re both short series). I think y’all will enjoy BoB more, but at the end of the day, as long as I can watch you watch it at some point, it doesn’t matter

You sound like you absolutely do but.. I simply figured the waiting for something you liked would involve more of the waiting and watching the thing you like. Less of the uproar at which is better or whatever. The most recent horror you mentioned was in 1990 by the way, a near 35 years ago - not to mention are all movies. However, being a history buff I assume, you're probably aware that times definitely change. Regardless, BoB will be worth the wait I'm sure and I hope you enjoy it when it comes very soon. Because it will be very soon lol

I picked random famous named things, I didn't know I needed ones more recent how about American Horror Story Murder House, AHS Coven, How about AHS Asylum. Is 2011-2014 recent enough? oh and they're shows too...all nominated for many awards and won a bunch too...Dahmer was nominated a bunch, that was from a year or two ago...Plenty of horror shows/movies get recognized if they're good enough...I'll say it again, if you like it great, good for you, I'm happy you like it. I'm just stating facts. 1 of the shows won awards and the other didn't. If that upsets anyone, well that's their issue not mine

This conversation began literally because you were upset Emmy award didnt guarantee a show they like got reacted to before another one.. apparently this is an issue that you wanted to raise. Although I do recommend forming your own opinion of things than that of a select group of Emmy voters, because, as you can see in the polls, they're not everything to everyone. It’s the way you talk to people. Comes across as ‘I cannot believe other people (majority) do not want what I want and I will not accept that’. I think some people might just be scared of g-g-g-ghosts. /s BoB IS great. (And it checks all the boxes it needs to check for a story about the European theater) HoHH is ALSO great (And it checks all of the spooky boxes, but surprises the viewer by ALSO telling a beautiful and tragic story about grief)

Hill House definitely seems more intriguing for a reaction than Band of Brothers does though. That could be a big reason. Not to mention that Hill House is a very highly regarded show as well.
