We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

  • Use a dual monitor PC setup to watch both screens simultaneously

  • Use the split screen functions on your computer/phone to watch them side by side

  • Chromecast / Screenshare one screen to your TV while watching the other screen on a phone or laptop

  • HDMI your laptop / tablet to the TV and use the TV as a 2nd monitor (not mirror display)

  • Use your Smart TV or Gaming console to play the YouTube reaction and your Phone/Laptop to play the show (or other way around)

There is no question working in hospital nursing for a while now has left me with a warped sense of what makes me squeamish or grossed out so a spider hole & Ashley's aftermath didn't seem vomit inducing or super shocking. To be honest though watching this episode less than 12 hours after seeing arguably the most freakish patient event of my life I may be permanently broken. Plus I think I have come to expect these moments from this franchise. Honestly the series is pretty much a PG movie compared the source material comics.. While I won't reveal any of the plot from the comics but when I heard them announce The Boys would end in season 5, I wasn't expecting that this season to go nuts until the final episode or 2. The reason I felt that way is simply because when you know there is a definitive end coming the stakes change. It is easier to justify for writers holding on to a storyline or keeping a character around a beat or two longer and you know the finale of s4 is going be a massive cliffhanger. I definitely haven't been as high on this season as others but if the story is going where I think it is the final 2 episodes could change that opinion.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm not feeling this season. The overarching story is really interesting, but it keeps getting bogged down by a bunch of... crap. The plot feels disjointed, the characters are hugely inconsistent, and it's being gross and violent just because they can. I don't mind it if it serves a purpose, or if it's at least funny, but the sex dungeon plot really cheapened the scene with Hughie accepting his feelings about his dad's death. Hopefully, the last two episodes can turn it around.
