We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

  • Use a dual monitor PC setup to watch both screens simultaneously

  • Use the split screen functions on your computer/phone to watch them side by side

  • Chromecast / Screenshare one screen to your TV while watching the other screen on a phone or laptop

Sorry for the following novel... I think the reason they went with suped up animals is to set the stage for a potential plot twist involving trying to re-create the anti supe virus. What I mean by that is the show attempts to inject real world parallels into the story. One of the biggest issues of the past 4 years has been the Covid19 virus. With the virus came two massive conspiracy theories. The first being it was manmade created in a lab. The second being the side effects of Covid19 vaccinations. With the first, some conspiracy theories allege Chinese scientists were trying to make a virus that could be engineered to infect &/or kill targeted groups (mainly meaning race) while having harmless/reduced effects on others. The targeting would be specific to a genetic component in a section of one's DNA. Meaning you could aim it at a specific person or group depending on the DNA marker targeted. However in this conspiracy theory the preliminary virus managed to escape the lab possibly via tested upon animals the unintended consequence was the targeting had not been perfected causing the entire human population to susceptible. The main reason why the animals are key is because a lot times scientific testing uses animals to limit the risk to humans. Most of the time depending on what is being studied they choose an animal that has a DNA component most closely resembling one in humans. There is an important distinction this does not mean the animal with the closest complete DNA sequence to humans. It means an animal that only shares a limited section of the complete DNA sequence. In terms of virology's experimentation this is done because zootonic transmission is rare it only exists in a handful of diseases. I believe The Boys twist will be that while the original engineered disease didn't infect or harm the human population the attempted recreation will. Which leads to the secondary real world conspiracy theory that the creation of the virus was about making people sick for the specific so they could make a vaccine. The vaccine would allegedly allow governments to inject their populations with stuff that allowed them to control people. I think this how they are setting up the show's endgame. Basically what is going to happen is Homelander & his supes wrathful gods agenda will try to seize power by overthrowing governments including the US government. Even if Neuman ends up a VP then president her being a supe won't be good enough for Homelander. Homelander will want the power for himself. Setting the stage for a legitimate reason to unleash the re-created anti-supe disease. When this occurs the unintended consquence will be not just the Supes will be infectiable it will harm humans too. That will then lead to the need to create vaccine & or cure. The consequence of being inoculated will be the loss of powers in the existing Supes. For the humans it will cause them essentially to become "sterile" ending all ability for anyone to ever become a Supe again. Lastly I think while episode used Suped up animals for my disease theory. It also was designed to show Neuman as well as Stan Edgar being capable of working & cooperating with the Boys when their goals are aligned. This way when Homelander begins his coup their willingness to turn to The Boys won't be abrupt or out of left field unprecedented. Clearly we can see Neuman expects Homelander to turn on her otherwise she would have told him about the virus. When it comes to Homelander they established the original virus wasn't strong enough to be capable of killing him. I dont think the new version of the disease will be either but what it may do is weaken him enough that combining attacks & powers can kill him in the 5th season's series finale.

I think Sage knows A-Train is the leak 100%, the fact she's not using that information now is probably to save for ammo in her future plans. Also I saw this comment on YT - "The look on Sage's face shows why Lex Luthor struggles with working with Joker. Everyone has a plan until pure chaos walks into the room."

Thats what I think too. She also told deep a couple episodes ago she "knew" it wasn't him. So shes been ruling people out closing in on who did it and or already knew who it was at that time. Plus her comment to a train about it not being able to run away lol. She definitely knows.
