Full Length Reaction Guide

We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

  • Use a dual monitor PC setup to watch both screens simultaneously
  • Use the split screen functions on your computer/phone to watch them side by side
  • Chromecast / Screenshare one screen to your TV while watching the other screen on a phone or laptop
  • HDMI your laptop / tablet to the TV and use the TV as a 2nd monitor (not mirror display)
  • Use your Smart TV or Gaming console to play the YouTube reaction and your Phone/Laptop to play the show (or other way around)
  • Use Google chromes picture in picture mode to overlay your own copy of the show over our reaction in a smaller window size (Link to the extension here: ( https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/picture-in-picture-extens/hkgfoiooedgoejojocmhlaklaeopbecg?hl=en )

We hope you enjoy the video!

When is the Dead Man's Chest planned on being posted?

SuddenImpulse

Unless stated otherwise the general cadence of things is 2 episodes per week for tv series and 1 movie a week. They try to shoot for specific days but it just depends on the workload/if there's unexpected editing or copyright issues etc.

AlrightThere

You mentioned it but something I love about these movies is there isn't much CGI. The main CGI here was the undead pirates but pretty much everything else isn't. Brilliant

Fun facts: The films are based on Walt Disney's ride of the same name. The role of Captain Jack Sparrow was originally written for Hugh Jackman but he was not that well known outside of Australia at the time so Disney cast Johnny Depp instead, who was fairly well known. Johnny Depp based the character of Captain Jack Sparrow on Keith Richards from The Rolling Stones. Depp also improvised Jack's catch phrase "Savvy?" and one of the film's last lines "Bring me that horizon" was conceived by Depp the morning the scene was filmed. Jack's “drunk walk” is actually the result of his "sea legs". When he's on land his walk is unbalanced, while at sea he walks straight. That is because he spends more time at sea than on land. There is an after credits scene in at least film 1-3. Some people look at it as a triology because 4 and 5 are not as good as 1-3 and Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley are not in them, but I always tell people to watch them and decide for themselves. It may be an unpopular opinion but I personally enjoy both. Other Johnny Depp films I recommend are A Nightmare on Elm Street, Cry-Baby, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Sleepy Hollow, Chocolat, Finding Neverland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Corpse Bride, Sweeney Todd and Alice in Wonderland. And speaking of Edward Scissorhands, it reminds me of she-who-must-not-be-named's comment in an interview after the trial that "he made everyone believe he had scissors for fingers" 🤣

I just love how you were both seeing yourself as Jack lol. This series is just like Jack says "Not all treasure is silver and gold, mate"
