WWII Fallout - Direction Update - November 2023 (Patreon)

Hello everyone, Klem here!

Alright, first off - Thank you all for your kind support! I am glad my work is getting as much attention as it does. Never thought this project would get far, since it all started as just my private playground to get lost in on a friday night. I never had grand plans for it, let alone share it; it was honestly just more of a challange for myself to test my modding skills. However I've had a change of perspective since then.

I have been a gamer and private modder all my life, but never have I gotten as much joy out of it as I have now in the past few months: by being able to share niche creations and knowledge with my community! It is safe to say, I have found my true hobby in life. I am more motivated then ever!

So, what next?

WWII Fallout Project will continue:

• I have new uniforms for all factions that will be slowly added here and there when finished
• US and IJA factions will be the main focus for now - First uniform packs and later replacers
• Old content will be gradually shared on Nexus Mods
• My new standard is to include dismemberment support for all unifroms - I want to see flying legs!
• I want 3rd person weapon animations to be flawless (left leaning, grip positions, etc.)
• And finally - I want to include YOU - my community - in the decision making idea generation and knowledge sharing - I think it is the best way.

Discord server for the project

For the purposes of upping the quality of our engagement and communication I have been looking into setting up a Discord Server. Ofcourse I am very new to all of this, so it will all be a learning and growing process.

I find it easiest to share progress/gameplay/showcases in video form. All video content will be hosted on my POVcombat youtube channel. Feel free to subscribe if you want to see all the up to date content.

Project name

Ok this one is a bit silly, but I am having a hard time choosing a fitting name for the project haha. It started out as "Project Barbarossa" just so it had a name, but I think the word looks weird and long and doesn't really tell you what it is about. Was thinking about "WWII Simulator" or "POVcombat". But I think something like "WWII Fallout" fits best. I am open for ideas, ofcourse!
