DevLog #58: February 2021 (Patreon)

Hey guys, I hope you're all well and safe!

It's time for the monthly devlog! Here's what I've been working on this past month.

Light Fairytale Episode 2

As planned, I've completed the finalization of the 2nd third of this episode: The Ice Lair.

Here's a new gameplay video featuring a sub-boss battle. There are 3 sub-boss battles in this dungeon, plus the main boss: The Ice Elemental.

On a side note, Light Fairytale Episode 1 has just reached 150 reviews on Steam!

Super Night Riders

This month marks the 5th anniversary of the first release of Super Night Riders! Time goes by so fast :3

Virtual Reality

I've experimented a bit on making stereoscopic (top/bottom) 180 degrees 3DCG renders that can be viewed in VR!

I've uploaded two tests in the attachments bellow - as .MP4 files. You can view them in any VR video player, such as Skybox VR.

Next month, I plan to finalize the last 3rd of episode 2 so I should have a fully playable build by the end of the month!

The release will probably happen in April though, as I want the day one build to be mostly finalized and full featured, including the French and Japanese translations, and also support for Linux and Mac.
