Adding this one extra from my previous list....for a truly entertaining comedy, try Spinal Tap. Mockumentary of a metal rock band.

Spinal Tap is an essential film for any fan of rock 'n roll. Plus I'm forever in their debt for giving me the solution to the question, "What do you do if you have a jam party for your musician friends, and three dudes show up with a bass guitar". "Big Bottom". That's what you do with 3 or more bass guitars in a band. Thank you, Spinal Tap.

Since Patty Estrada brought up foreign language films (and I piled on with a suggestion or two of my own), there are some nice foreign films in the English language that are worthy of the channels' time. A few topping my list (besides The Full Monty, which I regularly plug😁 ): Whale Rider (2002) - New Zealand - A lovely drama centered around a community of Māori people of New Zealand, and one of my all-time favorite girl-power movies. Bend It Like Beckham (2002) - United Kingdom - A story about a girl growing up in England who's traditional Indian parents don't understand or support her love of soccer. The Commitments (1991) - Ireland - a nice music driven film about a group of Irish folks who form a band doing classic American soul tunes.

Nice suggestions, Robert. I echo "Whale Rider" and "The Commitments". Both great films near the top of my favorites list.
