I hope Amber enjoyed it! Sean Astin did a great job. I know you like Adam Sandler and have watched some of his movies, but have you seen 50 First Dates? Which also stars Sean Astin. Also, have you (and I’m sure you have but then again maybe not) seen The Sandlot? I feel like everyone has seen it, definitely as kids, but since I thought the same about E.T and it turned out to be that you hadn’t seen it, I thought I’d ask lol. While this is Sam, Frodo does come out in a sports movie, “Green Street” (don’t remember if it’s good or not).

I know you guys like Sean Astin as Sam in LOTR but two of my favorite movies of his are White Water Summer and Toy Soldiers. There’s so many good sports movies, The Sandlot, Major League 1&2, The Rookie, Bull Durham, The Program, The Replacements, Draft Day, Little Giants, The Mighty Ducks trilogy, Mystery Alaska, Here Comes The Boom (definitely a feel good movie)… One of my favorite movie series is The Hunger Games. Nothing but amazing through each of the four movies.

Please lower the movie volume while the unblurred section is playing. It may just be me, but it is super hard to understand what you are saying with the movie's volume so high. I've noticed this issue since The Lord of the Rings so it's been a while. Thank you. My fav. sports movie: Rudy Also, yes, that was a young "Vincent" Vaughn.

Karl Kraus

I agree with the sound issue totally difficult to hear anything

David Crabtree

Great reaction to a movie I adore! My top 5 favorite football movies: 1) Remember the Titans 2) Rudy 3) Varsity Blues 4) Necessary Roughness 5) The Program

Although some people feel Close Encounters should be hands down the front runner that you should watch I think you would get more enjoyment watching Star Wars The Force Awakens.

I am sorry it is a bad sports Movie didn't like just being honest. The Program is a great football movie. Wish you would have done Spaceballs for the May the fourth ( MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU)

Joseph mastando

Is it me or did the volume to the video go off after the first 10 minute or so

Michael Lynch

The point of this movie is not football. The point is to chase your dreams and never give up on them no matter how many times you’re told no. It’s a beautiful emotional drama with great character development with a football backdrop.

Lisa Rhodes

I know all about the meaning of this movie and my son kinda lived the similar situation . My son went from a tiny school in Iowa to playing in Arizona football so i know what hard work is .I still don't like the movie sorry. The program is better.

You asked about our favorite sports film. Mine is Ford v Ferrari, and it’s not just my favorite sports film but my favorite film of all-time. This film also is more than just a racing film. It has a lot of depth to it as well. Also has probably the closest friendship between film characters since Frodo and Sam in Lord of the Rings. Also, great cast: Matt Damon, Christian Bale, Jon Bernthal, Josh Lucas, Tracy Letts, Catorina Balfe, Ray McKinnon, and Noah Jupe. Also, directed by James Mangold, who is director the last Indiana Jones film coming out this Summer on June 30th.

Yes. Chase your dreams and never give up, that way you can get a made up movie about you and get convicted of securities fraud.

Tom Wilkinson

I still love The Natural. Redford is a great actor. I would love to see your reaction to this film.

Amber, you mentioned you were here for Frodo Baggins who was MVP in his last movie and wasn’t sure if you knew that the actor playing Rudy is Sean Astin and he was Samwise “The Brave” from LOTR. He is also Mikey in The Goonies. I think it’s fantastic that Rudy’s younger brothers went on to college. If not for Rudy, their father and older siblings would’ve had the same mindset. The real “Rudy” made a cameo in the stands sitting behind the father and at one point they cheered together
