Wanda Did Nothing Wrong

I love watching Dawes work through people to get the info he wants. Starts with Naomi, gets shut down by Holden, goes to Drummer, obviously gets turned down by her because he ends up with Diogo Harari aka you little shit. And he’s SO charming and manipulative with him. Biging him up, to get info about them having Cortazar, then switching to the talking about how small and insignificant you can feel, when Diogo hesitates to give him more info. He’s so very good at what he does. Even when he was on the Roci, he was very clearly only really talking to Naomi, even if Holden was stood in between them a lot lol. It’s a great tiny bit of foreshadowing that Dawes tells Holden that he reminds him of Miller, “just missing the hat,” considering James was very definitely on his way to kill Cortazar, Miller style lol. Naomi is in a horrible position of being stuck in the middle right now, but I don’t think she really wants anyone to have the protomolocule. She can’t trust anyone with it, it’s why she’s just left it there and not told a single soul about it. But she is also a realist who knows that destroying it, when it could potentially be useful in the future, is a really stupid idea. You weren’t confused about anything really this ep, so nothing to clear up for you. And can’t really comment on any of your thoughts or theories without spoiling. Hope you enjoy the next one.
