Ganymede isn’t near Venus. It’s a moon of Jupiter. Ganymede is a joint UN/MCRN agricultural station. Bobbi and her team were sent there a couple eps ago to “guard the food supply,” we can assume that the UN has also sent people to do the same. They both have lines they’re not allowed to cross, like North/South Korea. Those weren’t ships being destroyed in orbit, they were the orbital mirrors, that direst the sunlight down to the ag-domes. The ships were getting shot at, just not destroyed. And yeah, if you go back and watch the Naomi missile scene again. On the screen you can see she pushes “start simulation” and then it cuts to the missile NOT moving. She just left it where it was but let everyone else believe that it was destroyed. I think what Fred said about using every edge they’ve got so they can try and protect themselves from the inners got to her. It’s what she spent the whole episode doing. Putting the Miller/Julie story out there, saving the sample and helping Drummer with the missiles. And that conversation basically translates to “make sure you do this thing,” and Drummer replying “why don’t you do it, and I’ll watch” lol I like that there’s no onscreen translation. It sets Naomi and Drummer clearly apart from anyone who’s not a Belter.
