AhhhHHH This. Episode. Hands down one of my favorite episode of the first half of the season. Amos' "I am that guy." A line most of us could predict, but the delivery was so good that it wasn't any less badass. Fun fact: Wes Chatham and Ty Franck - one of the co-authors of the og novels - have a podcast/YT channel together called Ty and That Guy, the named themed after Amos' iconic line haha. Highly recommend checking them out after finishing the show, as they have several episodes where they talk about the show, books, and behind-the-scenes stuff! (Also yes, that 'best friend in the whole world' line + Amos with Mei was and is still the cutest thing ever) Strickland, Jules-Pierre, Errinwright, and Nguyen getting their due diligence of course being another satisfying highlight. The writers also once again showing off their amazing foreshadowing/call-backs with the finale of Bobby's fight with the hybrid! Remember the scene if the beginning of the season where she's arm-wrestling her suit and wins? That was cleverly brought back here when she was on the ground with low power and depleted thrusters in her suit (and therefore couldn't move it), and she was actually able to lift her arm and overpower the suit to finish off the hybrid. So cool. And here ends book 2! They're finally moving onto the 3rd book, which they tried to cram into 7 insane episodes. Looking forward to that ride with you! I'm always so late to watching these episodes so I never choose to comment, but I just couldn't resist this one! Thanks for the amazing reactions btw, as always!
