First off, I LOVE the Small Beans. Huge fan. This is the first episode I have turned off out of annoyance. It sounded like Maggie was recording from an empty swimming pool. The commentary on the films was pretty shallow too. Maggie on "A Prophet": "Uhh yeah, uhh . . .I agree. It was . . . great!" You all sounded like you were having fun, but you are going to have to share those edibles.

Finally got around to listening to this. Great episode. Hard agree about Ocean's 11 and now I need to see A Prophet. It may have been "lighter fare" for some, but my brain needed the parasocial friend time and it was delightful. I am honored to be the representative bean fan! A sprout? What are bean fans called? One childish comment: Like Abe and Mike, I was also rolling in nerd-pain at your mention of (1) the quote "Revenge is a dish best served cold" and (2) Star Trek, and yet, no discussion of the world's greatest gift to cinema (and the VHS industry) The Wrath of Khan??? KHHHAAAAANNNN!!!!
