It’s a Wes month! This time we discuss his 2001 film The Royal Tenenbaums which looks at familial grief and dysfunction. Wes Anderson’s style and charm is on full display with a stellar cast in what could be argued is a more formless narrative than movie goers were accustomed to. Abe and Mike disagree about Act 2 but who cares, it’s a good movie.

To Abe's question-- the "what's he talking about" in the scene with Margot and Raleigh isn't actually voiceover, it's Ethel speaking off screen. They're responding to Ethel when they say "it doesn't matter" and "she's balling Eli Cash"
