As we recently announced, we're making a movie and a true crime podcast, and we're making them in full view of you, our Patrons. Today, we worked on the Furry Movie. In this episode, Michael and Abe discuss some of the arcs that need to be fleshed out more after critical responses. This week we worked more on the climax of the film and how to plant the details we need for Act 3 in Act 1.

I wanted to pitch a couple of things based on today's Diary. During the Water Polo practice, Trey sees Brandon the goalie whispering something to a crony player. When Trey gets the ball, the crony dunks him under the water and holds him down. Brandon smirks and looks away to see if the coach is paying attention. Trey bursts out from under the water with the ball, possibly screaming like a roaring monster, and then chucks the ball to bounce off Brandon's head into the goal. Later in the movie, when Trey is chasing the bad guys at the Furry Con, and falls into the pool, the same sort of thing happens again. Trey is under water. The bad guy smirks and turns to run away. Trey bursts out of the water, screaming and holding the sloppy head like a Water Polo Ball. Trey chucks the head into the bad guy, tripping him and saving the day. My second pitch is to have Trey briefly consider putting the chlorine into Brandon's car when he sees it in the shed. But then he realizes that would be going way too far because he knows how harmful the stuff is to people.

To link the YMCA pool "skill" and the stage without stepping on the toes of the convention pool rescue you could have Trey and his friends jokingly practicing the Dirty Dancing lift in the water and then when he's walking infront of the stage (after nervously walking the stage) an overly enthusiastic attendee falls face first off the front and Trey catches them in a full Swayze/Baby moments. Amid the cheers Trey is brought back up stage and he's no longer nervous and he enjoys it this time.
