NEW GOAL: Off Hours, The Show (Patreon)

In case you hadn't noticed, we went ahead and changed our funding goal! Don't believe me? Look to the left of this post slightly and BE AMAZED.

See, our goal used to be "Give us $12,000 to make a short to use as a pitching tool to help sell a movie." We weren't joking, that is what we wanna do, and we ARE gonna do that, but we also saw our Patronage start to stagnate and looked over at the great, focused work they're doing at Some More News, and got to thinking...

"Hey, a million times a day people write to ask us to bring back After Hours. We've still got ideas like that kicking around. Should we...I don't know, give people what they want? You know, MAKE THEM HAPPY in exchange for their entertainment dollar? IS THAT REALLY OUR ROLE IN ALL THIS?"

Turns out yeah, it is. So now we're only asking for $10,000 to launch Off Hours, a show where four friends discuss pop culture in their spare time, accompanied by fanciful illustrations and masterfully-edited clip packages! Incidentally, everyone working on it also worked on a show called After Hours at some point!

YES, Small Beans podcasting will continue. But if we can reach this funding goal, we will also commit to providing regular episodes of Off Hours, which will become our core video series. We REALLY hope that happens. 

And just for starters, here's some of the talent already attached!

WRITERS: David Bell, Michael Swaim, Tom Reimann, Abe Epperson, and Adam Ganser, all of whom wrote classic After Hours eps. Swaim wrote 19.

DIRECTOR: Abe Epperson, director of half of all After Hours episodes.

EDITOR: Michael Swaim, editor of more After Hours episodes than anyone alive (actually Nick Rood may have caught up), plus the originator of After Hours' editing style, writer of the After Hours theme song, and guy who came up with the title "After Hours" as well as the concept of including 'toons.

ARTISTS: Anthony Clark (AKA Nedroid), Starline Hodge, both of whom provided illustration work for After Hours. Plus Michael Vincent Bramley and Ben Shannon, who designed all our boss Small Beans merch and the better Small Beans podcast logos!

CAST (confirmed so far): Michael Swaim, Cody Johnston, Katy Stoll, Greg Burke, Damian Washington, Maggie Mae Fish, Teresa Lee, and Daniel Vincent Gordh.
