I absolutely adored this, the idea of a load of teenage cave men riding around on a glyptodon made me die. Can't wait for the next one.

Great Podcast! I'm currently doing a degree on palaeontology. For future reference Dinosaurs are generally defined as diapsids (two holes in the back of skull behind the eyes) that would have had both pairs of legs/flippers beneath the main body of the animal when it was alive. Dinosaurs inhabited the Mesozoic period, which is the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods (250-65 Million years ago). Also if you look more at dinosaurs you'll notice that Stegosauria, Ceratopsians (horn faced like triceratops) and most herbivores belong to the Ornithischian (bird-hipped) DID NOT EVOLVE INTO BIRDS. Palaeontologists like to name things to confuse people. If you want a cool non dinosaur I would recommend "Anomalocaris" it was a big shrimp (1m-ish) around 500 million years ago, it wasn't the biggest or the baddest but was the worlds first apex predator which is pretty noteworthy.
