Dan’s observations about violence and how his stomach for it has changed as he has aged is so spot on! I can’t handle violence and gore anymore and I think it’s in part because, as Michael explained, I’ve experienced too much to just blindly enjoy it.

Just started this, and Dan's comment about how special the memory of making friends around going to see this movie got me a little choked up. It was really cute, and I totally empathize, making friends can be really hard and making that first hangout happen can be really special.
